I had to post these first since they're what inspired me to blog :) I
took Ryker shopping last weekend and let me pick out some sunglasses and
a hat so that we could work out in the yard. He's so stinkin cute!
Easter 2012
We enjoyed Easter with family, brunch and an Easter Egg Hunt!
Unfortunately I was so wrapped up in it I only got some decent photo's of Ryker.
The week before I spent hours and hours cleaning up the flower beds and edging them.
5 huge bags!
Ry was sopping wet within an hour of our first day outside for Spring!
Seth felt the need to take a picture of me tilling the garden. I love it since I'm ankle deep in dirt :)
Corina's little girls came to play this same week and I had to take a photo of all the sweet smiles!
This March I hosted a Hunger Games Premiere Party at work. It turned out to be a lot of fun! There was only about half the attendance of my Twilight or Harry Potter events but I think the next one in 2013 will be a lot more. There's a lot of steam and fans behind this movie!
Cornucopia Competition (Trivia)
Battlefield Utah
There was also a Fireball Dodge, Mellark Bakery, Hunt Lassoing, Fighting Skills, Jousting, nerf guns, compound bows and Tracker Jacker Darts.
To end the evening we had a Reaping and the Megaplex's 1st Annual Hunger Games! 24 Tributes were selected and competed in elimination games to win prizes. Guests were entered into the reaping by donating canned goods! We collected 880 of them for the Utah Food Bank!
At the end of February Seth joined me in Vegas for a Conference called Catersource. I learned a ton in the classes on Sunday and Monday and then Tuesday I couldn't get out of bed due to the FLU! It was such terrible timing! Luckily Seth and I still were able to enjoy a nice date Sunday night with dinner and the Penn and Teller show.
Here's some pictures from the tradeshow and other vegas stuff:
This was my favorite table scape! Maybe since pirates are near and dear to my creative heart but also since they did an amazing job with the structure and details.
I really liked the candle holders on this one. It was a vase on an upside down cup.
This one was my second favorite. A jungle theme with a lot of details!
Edible glitter chocolate truffles....I'm thinking my last Twilight Event this November!
Neat catering idea! Food served on the wall!
Seth and I at an evening event
Ceasar's Palace - View from our room.
To end the post off with the way I started.... Ryker! We've been having fun with art projects!
